Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR Rad Tech)

Hiring an Interventional Radiologic Technologist to work in a hospital setting in Rochester, NY.

•

Contract: 13 weeks (6-month contractors considered)

•

Schedule: 40 hours per week

•

Shift: 5x8hr Days | On call/callback/holiday per unit needs

•

On Call Requirement: 5–7 call shifts per 7-week block (2–4 weekend call days)

•

Setting: Interventional Radiology

•

Requirements:

BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)

Minimum 2 years of experience

Active New York State License (or able to obtain prior to start)

VIR Certification preferred

•

Responsibilities:

Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures

Assist Radiologist during procedures

Select appropriate exposure factors and produce diagnostic-quality images

Operate and maintain radiologic equipment

Document accurately in HIS, RIS, and PACS systems

Maintain patient confidentiality and medication security

Participate in performance improvement initiatives

Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members

Compensation:

Local Weekly: $3,800

Travel Package: $4,450

Note: Per diem rates follow GSA Guidelines for New York to maintain compliance.
