We are seeking two part time employees for Doyaji, a Korean BBQ food truck located in the food pod CORE in SE Portland. This role is primarily a line cook position, with additional responsibilities in cashiering and customer service. This is a self-sufficient role that requires a very reliable and responsible individual with strong kitchen, customer service, and multi-tasking abilities. $20/hr + tips (about $8 per hour average, usually higher in spring + summer)Schedule Needed / Hours: Part time 1:Thursday: 2:00 PM - 8:30 PMFriday: 3:30 PM - 9:30 PMSaturday: 12 PM - 9:30 PMSunday: 12 PM - 8:30 PMPart time 2: Saturday: 11 AM - 9:30 PMSunday: 11 AM - 8:30 PMCandidates for this job must meet the following criteria:- Minimum three years of line cook experience (customer service roles are a plus)- Strong knife skills- Fully available for either above schedule - Friendly and patient customer service- Ability to comfortably multi-task- Respectfully works with others well- Clean and organized- Work well and efficiently during fast-paced service - Ability to lift heavy items (about 50 pounds)- Enjoy working alone or with one other individual- Comfortable with working in cold / hot weather conditions (we will do our best to make the environment as warm / cool as possible)- Trustworthy and reliable - need to be very good about showing up on time and consistently - with such a self-sufficient role, dependability is a must
