Food Server

Job Summary

We are on the lookout for friendly, energetic Food Servers to join our vibrant team. In this role, you'll be the face of our restaurant, delivering warm hospitality and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay them efficiently to the kitchen.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards, especially in fine dining or upscale settings.
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, and proper food safety practices to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Support guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, specials, and dietary needs.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Clear tables, bus tables when needed, and help maintain a tidy dining area to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; experience with fine dining or nightclubs is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing.
• Strong customer service skills with an approachable attitude and excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while multitasking efficiently.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and cashiering tasks.
• Experience in serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles within the food industry is advantageous.
