Position Paramedic Metro at North Memorial Health in Brooklyn Center, MN, US.
About this position Provides advanced life support care to the sick and injured and safely transports customers of all ages to a medical facility. In addition, the paramedic assists with other services and events as directed by North Memorial Ambulance Service.
Responsibilities • Provide advanced life support care to patients.

Qualifications Education Successfully completed a paramedic training program from an accredited institution (required).
Associate of Science degree (preferred).
Experience Previous ambulance experience (preferred).
Previous advanced life support experience (preferred).
For Air Care Paramedics: three (3) years of ALS experience as a Paramedic (required).
For Air Care Paramedics: prior flight experience (preferred). Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Demonstrated ability to organize, problem‑solve, make decisions during emergency situations and work independently.
Possess or quickly acquire knowledge of the street and highway system within the service area. Licensure/Certification Ground Paramedic Requirements Current Minnesota or Wisconsin Paramedic Certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire).
American Heart Association ACLS and BLS Certification or American Red Cross ACLS and BLS Certification (within 14 days of hire).
Valid State Class D driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
American Heart Association or American Red Cross PALS Certification.
ICS‑100, ACS‑200 and ACS‑700 or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire (preferred).
Air Care Paramedic Requirements Current Minnesota
Paramedic Certification or obtain within 60 days of hire.
Current Wisconsin Paramedic Certification or obtain within 6 months of hire.
National Registered Paramedic.
