About the position

Responsible for assistance in the development of the department by efficient delivery of cardiopulmonary care. Under medical supervision the respiratory therapist will be responsible for the delivery of cardiopulmonary services to patients in all areas of the facility. The therapist is expected to perform duties and responsibilities with only minimal or indirect supervision and must frequently make independent decisions. Standards of performance as determined by the Respiratory Therapy Department must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide oxygen administration
• Arterial puncture and blood gas analysis
• Ventilator management
• Non-invasive ventilator management
• Aersolized medication
• Pulse oximetery
• Chest physiotherapy
• Airway management
• Responds to Codes
• Attend high risk births
• Perform EKG's as needed

Requirements

• LIC-Registered Respiratory Therapist - Tennessee
• Relevant Work Experience
• Less than 1 year experience
• Graduate of an approved discipline specific program
