CNC Milling Machinist – Aerospace

Superior Skilled Trades is hiring a CNC Milling Machinist for a growing aerospace facility.

• Location: South Windsor, CT
• Job Type: Contract to hire
• Pay: $25 - $32/hour

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce high-precision aerospace components
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Work with engineering and quality teams to ensure FAA and aerospace standards are met

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years CNC machining experience (milling strongly preferred)
• Experience machining tight-tolerance or aerospace components
• Ability to edit CNC programs (Fanuc preferred)
• Strong knowledge of tooling, feeds, and speeds
• Comfortable reading technical drawings and GD&T
• Familiar with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
