Quality Inspector I – Salt Lake City, UT

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies.
• Use inspection tools such as microscopes, calipers, and micrometers.
• Follow inspection procedures, specifications, and engineering drawings.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when defects are identified.
• Support CAPA activities, complaint investigations, and document archival processes.
• Ensure compliance with quality procedures and cGMP requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in quality inspection or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to use microscopes, calipers, and micrometers.
• Basic computer skills and documentation experience.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Preferred

• Medical device, FDA-regulated, or cGMP manufacturing experience.
• Associate degree or technical education.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.33 per hour

• Are you able to stand or sit for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs?
