Job Summary:
A leading organization is seeking an Associate Payroll and Timekeeping Specialist to support payroll operations through accurate management of employee time and attendance records. This role will be responsible for maintaining timekeeping systems, resolving discrepancies, supporting payroll processes, and providing exceptional service to employees and managers. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and experience working with payroll or timekeeping systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain employee time and attendance records within the timekeeping system
Review, audit, and validate time entries to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies
Assist employees and managers with timekeeping inquiries, corrections, approvals, and system-related issues
Partner with Human Resources and Payroll teams to ensure accurate integration of time data into payroll processing
Generate and distribute timekeeping reports for audits, compliance reviews, and management reporting
Support employee onboarding and training related to timekeeping procedures and system usage
Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate system issues or policy violations as appropriate
Maintain confidentiality of employee records and comply with data privacy standards
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to payroll and workforce administration processes
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 1 year of experience in payroll, timekeeping, workforce administration, or Human Resources support
Experience working with timekeeping or workforce management systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree or higher
Experience with Workday, Kronos, ADP, SAP, or similar timekeeping platforms
Experience supporting a large or multi-site workforce
Knowledge of federal and state wage and hour regulations
Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills

Pay Range: $20/hr to $26/hr
