Bottlehouse Server + Bartender - Wine Experience Required

Server | Bartender | Bottlehouse | MadronaRESPONSIBILITIES:Working the floor. Your role will require filling floor needs or holes in service on any given day. You may be scheduled to any restaurant section on any given shift, including but not limited to serving, bartending, hosting, and/or general BOH support if applicable.Working the bar. All floor staff are expected to be trained behind the bar, and have some experience with bartending/making cocktails. Report any customer or in-house/staff complaintsResponsible for knowing and understanding all opening, closing, cleaning procedures, delegation, and duties as indicated on side work checklistsComplete side work tasks based on scheduling and shiftAssistance with maintaining storage units, including organization, cleanliness, accurate inventories, and best storage practices as delegated by managementAssistance with wine stocking + storagePricing and stockingWriting tagsKnowledge and understanding of menus (wine, food, cocktails, and their selling points)Familiar and confident with all company procedures, policies, and processes by the end of the training periodFamiliar with the floor plan and table numbers, seating arrangementsWork as a cohesive team to support coworkers Mindful of pre-bussing needsSupport running food/drinksSupport events as neededAdhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen and restaurantImplement superb attention to detail, time management, and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, work well under pressure while also meeting deadlinesWorking events when neededChampion a team mindsetRequirementsGeneral strong wine knowledge and ability to talk about and present wines.1 year previous experience in a related position 1 year experience in bartendingValid Food Handler and MAST Certification required.Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift.
