Job Summary
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Lead Teachers (Full-Time) to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will serve as a key leader within the classroom, guiding both children and fellow staff members to create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment. Your expertise will help foster social-emotional development, literacy skills, and foundational knowledge in young learners. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in implementing curriculum plans, managing classroom activities, and ensuring each child's individual needs are met with care and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes childhood development, literacy education, and early intervention strategies.
- Lead daily classroom activities with enthusiasm, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children of various ages including toddlers and preschoolers.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management techniques, fostering respect and cooperation among children.
- Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, needs, and milestones effectively.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality childcare and educational standards are maintained.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor developmental progress and tailor lesson plans accordingly.
- Incorporate Early childcare methods or other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences when applicable.
- Support children’s social-emotional well-being by implementing strategies for emotional regulation and conflict resolution.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, health regulations, and childcare licensing requirements at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, curriculum development, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies.
- Experience with special education needs, early intervention programs, or working with children requiring additional support is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to plan engaging lessons focused on literacy education, math skills, physical education activities, and overall child welfare.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and community partners.
- Familiarity with in early childhood education.
- Childcare certification or experience is a plus.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
