Position Purpose

The Accountant/Full Charge Bookkeeper is responsible for processing client bookkeeping and payroll with precision and efficiency.

Position Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of the Accountant/Full Charge Bookkeeper are:

  • Process client bookkeeping in a timely manner
  • Process client payroll and payroll tax deposits in a timely manner
  • Analyze client financials with the ability to communicate issues with clients and CPAs
  • Build new and cultivate existing client relationships
  • Other accounting projects as assigned
  • Maintain client confidentiality and uphold a high level of integrity and professionalism
  • Willingness to assist with various tax projects during tax season

Skills and Education

The skills and education required for this position are:

  • 2+ years prior Full Charge Bookkeeping and payroll experience, preferred or Accounting Degree with 2+ years’ experience, preferred
  • Previous experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Outstanding communications skills, both oral and written
  • Demonstrate excellent time-management skills
  • Deadline oriented and ability to multi-task
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow directions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour
