Responsibilities & Expectations:
The Project Coordinator will support our standby generator division and will assist with the transition from sales acceptance to project management. This role will be an integral component to maintaining the ordering process.
Support and assist with sales ordering to Kohler and vendors – residential and industrial
Review project workbooks for BOM
Maintain Kohler /Rehlko reporting for bookings, submittal backlogs and production releases
Create and maintain a project management calendar for deliveries, start-ups and testing – visibility to service for resource management (technicians and load banks)
Assist project managers with maintaining project costs to ensure accuracy in the requisition process
Establish and schedule review process of large projects with sales engineers, project managers and management
Accurately track freight charges, develop and maintain freight matrix
Liaison with service department to ensure large projects have proper resources to meet customer schedule
Provide administrative support to project managers
Qualifications and Competencies:
Associate’s degree in business or similar degree with proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
Experience in project management preferred
Ability to prepare and interpret schedules and action plans
Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time management
Intermediate to advanced computer skills to include MS Office
Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills
