Zahav is seeking a fired up Pastry Prep Cook to join our dedicated team. This person will work in a fast-paced, fine dining kitchen in a restaurant built on bringing exceptional hospitality. This person should be highly motivated, dependable, and looking to grow every day. Candidates should be punctual, professional, and recipe/task-oriented.
Hourly rate is based on experience.
Direct responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Preparation of cakes, breads, ice creams, sorbet, and special request desserts for service
Reading and executing bulk recipes
Receiving and organizing daily deliveries
Commitment to quality and hospitality
Supporting fellow back of house team members
Communicating with management and staff members effectively
Maintaining proper food safety standards
Baking production and pastry experience preferred. 2 years relevant experience required.
This role is approximately 40 hours per week, with 4-5 shifts per week. Zahav is open Tuesday - Saturday. Ability to work Friday and Saturday is required.
