Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Deliver outstanding service by understanding customer needs and assisting them with product selection, demonstration, and loading of merchandise.
- Delivery Activities: Plan and execute delivery schedules, pulling and organizing merchandise efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain safe and secure loads in adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, ensuring safe driving practices.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily vehicle inspections, verify cleanliness, and report any maintenance needs.
- Organization: Keep working areas clean and organized, complying with housekeeping standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A or B CDL License, with a medical certificate.
- Must be 21 years of age and comply with DOT regulations.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
- Preferred experience: 1 year of driving a semi-truck or certification from a driving school, 6 months in home delivery or retail customer service.
Compensation: Pay ranges from $33.15 - $37.15 per hour, based on various factors.
