Job Responsibilities

• Develop Tailored Treatment Plans:

Assess the needs of patients and create individualized therapy strategies to help them achieve their overall functional aspirations

• Implement Therapeutic Techniques:

Use evidence-based methods to enhance patients' motor abilities, cognitive skills, and daily living activities

• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams:

Partner with other OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and holistic care

• Guide Patients and Families:

Educate both patients and their caregivers on therapy methodologies to ensure continual progress at home

• Evaluate and Document Progress:

Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to maintain patient momentum

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continuing education or post-graduate qualifications encouraged and supported

Licensing and Certification

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
