Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Mobile Phlebotomist, where you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality laboratory specimen collection services directly to patients in various community settings. As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will be the friendly face of our laboratory services, traveling to patient locations and providing essential support in clinical specimen collection.
Duties
- Perform venipuncture and blood sampling using aseptic technique to ensure specimen integrity and patient safety
- Collect blood specimens from patients in diverse settings such as homes or community centers
- Collect other specimens from patients for ordered tests
- Accurately label, process, and document specimens following laboratory procedures and medical terminology standards
- Provide excellent patient service by explaining procedures clearly, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort during collection
- Maintain compliance with infection control protocols and uphold strict aseptic techniques throughout all procedures
- Record detailed notes on patient interactions, specimen details, and any deviations from standard procedures for quality assurance
Skills
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques including venipuncture, blood sampling, and specimen processing
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to phlebotomy and blood collection procedures
- Experience with clinical laboratory operations, hospital environments, or mobile healthcare settings is highly desirable
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively using medical terminology
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple appointments across different locations
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures, specimen handling protocols, and safety standards in healthcare environments
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as standing for extended periods and maneuvering equipment during mobile visits

Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
