As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will be the friendly face of our laboratory services, traveling to patient locations and providing essential support in clinical specimen collection.

Duties

• Perform venipuncture and blood sampling using aseptic technique to ensure specimen integrity and patient safety
• Collect blood specimens from patients in diverse settings such as homes or community centers
• Collect other specimens from patients for ordered tests
• Accurately label, process, and document specimens following laboratory procedures and medical terminology standards
• Provide excellent patient service by explaining procedures clearly, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort during collection
• Maintain compliance with infection control protocols and uphold strict aseptic techniques throughout all procedures
• Record detailed notes on patient interactions, specimen details, and any deviations from standard procedures for quality assurance

Skills

• Proficiency in laboratory techniques including venipuncture, blood sampling, and specimen processing
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to phlebotomy and blood collection procedures
• Experience with clinical laboratory operations, hospital environments, or mobile healthcare settings is highly desirable
• Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively using medical terminology
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple appointments across different locations
• Familiarity with laboratory procedures, specimen handling protocols, and safety standards in healthcare environments
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as standing for extended periods and maneuvering equipment during mobile visits

Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
