Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and strategic decision-making within a healthcare environment. This role partners with senior leadership to provide financial analysis, operational insights, executive reporting, and budget management. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting healthcare finance operations, month-end close activities, and long-range financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare month-end journal entries, financial reports, and executive-level presentations.
  • Analyze budget-to-actual variances and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Assist with the development and management of annual operating and capital budgets.
  • Monitor contract renewals, capital expenditures, and project-related financial activity.
  • Partner with department leaders to evaluate financial and operational performance.
  • Support strategic planning initiatives and special projects.
  • Serve as a liaison between finance and operational leadership.
  • Mentor junior financial analysts and provide guidance on financial reporting and analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive organizational objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
  • 4+ years of progressive finance, accounting, budgeting, or financial analysis experience within a healthcare system.
  • Experience supporting month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency with Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Reports, and EPIC.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working directly with senior leadership and executive stakeholders preferred.

Pay: $35.00 - $38.46 per hour
