Job Overview

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Operator working the 2nd shift! In this energetic role, you will operate and monitor CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise in programming, setup, and troubleshooting CNC equipment will drive quality and efficiency on the factory floor. Duties

  • Set up CNC machines including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC presses using CAD drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Program CNC equipment utilizing CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and Fanuc controls to ensure accurate machining operations.
  • Operate various manufacturing machinery such as press brake machines, stamping presses, fabrication tools, and welding stations to produce parts according to specifications.
  • Conduct quality control inspections using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances.
  • Handle materials and finished products safely within the warehouse or production area using forklifts and hand tools while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Read blueprints and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) symbols for precise machining instructions.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of machine setups, production runs, and quality checks for compliance and process improvement.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages and operation procedures with experience in Fanuc controls.
  • Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software such as SolidWorks for part design review.
  • Familiarity with CAM programming for toolpath generation and machine optimization.
  • Mechanical aptitude with understanding of fabrication processes including welding, stamping, and assembly line operations.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications accurately.
  • Experience with factory safety standards, materials handling equipment like forklifts, and basic math skills for measurements.
  • Knowledge of tooling setups, machining techniques, and quality control standards within a manufacturing environment.
