Security Officer-Class A Office Building

Our company is seeking professional, customer-focused Security Officers to provide exceptional security services at a prestigious Class A commercial office property. Our Security Officers serve as ambassadors for both the company and our client by creating a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, vendors, and guests.

This position requires individuals who possess a **hospitality mindset**, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships while maintaining a visible security presence. The ideal candidate understands that outstanding customer service and proactive security go hand in hand.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide a professional, courteous, and welcoming experience for all tenants, visitors, vendors, and guests.
• Maintain a highly visible presence while promoting a safe and secure environment throughout the property.
• Greet visitors, answer questions, provide directions, and assist with buildingrelated inquiries.
• Monitor building access points and verify visitor credentials in accordance with established procedures.
• Conduct routine patrols of the property, including interior and exterior areas.
• Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, emergencies, disturbances, and requests for assistance.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports, activity reports, and daily logs.
• Monitor CCTV systems, access control systems, and other security technology.
• Enforce property rules, company policies, and client procedures in a fair, professional, and respectful manner.
• Coordinate with property management, tenants, emergency responders, and law enforcement when necessary.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, unsafe conditions, or security concerns.
• Assist with emergency evacuations and other emergency response procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding tenants, visitors, and company operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous security, military, law enforcement, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Valid state Class D security license or ability to obtain one.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong observation and problemsolving abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and exercise sound judgment during emergencies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to patrol multiple floors and stairwells.
• Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to respond quickly during emergency situations.
