Welder D Shift

Location: St. Louis, MO

Pay: $20

Shift: 1st 6am-230pm

Shift days: Monday-Friday

Responsibilities Fits elbow and attachment using torch and tack welding.

Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.

Sets up equipment and welds parts.

Performs cleaning and grinding as required.

Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements High School diploma required

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination and experience.

On the job training by other fitters who have experience, knowledge, and insight into the job. Qualified by performance.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to touch; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear.

The employee frequently is required to climb or balance.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

FCAW Weld Qualified

SAW Weld Qualified

Grinders

Arc Gouging Equipment

Torches

Overhead Crane
