CNC General Machinists – 1st & 2nd Shift

Location: Croton-on-Hudson, NY

Salary: $22.00 – $30.00 + per hour + shift differential | Full-Time

Our client, a trusted manufacturer for over 40 years, is seeking CNC Machinists/Operators to join their team. This role offers a fast-paced environment, growth opportunities, and a stable career in precision machining across industries such as aerospace, power, petrochemical, and food service.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and other CNC machines
• Perform machining operations to produce precision mechanical components
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions
• Troubleshoot and adjust machine settings to maintain quality standards
• Perform basic CNC programming as required
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment

Qualifications• High School Diploma or GED (college degree a plus).

• Previous CNC setup/operation experience preferred; training available for motivated candidates.
• Experience in Setup, Running & Programming of CNC machines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and meet ITAR/DOD compliance requirements.

Schedule

• 1st Shift: 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM
• 2nd Shift: 4:15 PM – 12:45 AM (includes $0.80/hour shift differential)
• Occasional Saturday work as required
