Position Summary
The Final Assembly - Plumbing and Electric Systems and Finishing role is responsible for
completing final-stage installation, upgrades, repairs, and customer-specific add-on options on
Aero Build trailers before quality control and delivery. This role works in the Finishing
Department and must be capable of handling a wide range of electrical, plumbing, mechanical,
and exterior accessory work.
This position is ideal for someone with RV service technician, trailer service, marine service, or
similar hands-on systems experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and troubleshoot customer add-on options, including electric awnings, electric tongue jacks, stabilizer jacks, generator racks, spare tire mounts, lighting upgrades, and other accessories.
- Perform plumbing fixes, adjustments, and finish work including sinks, pumps, water
- heaters, tanks, drains, fittings, and leak checks.
- Perform electrical fixes and upgrades including outlets, switches, lighting, breaker panels, exterior lights, wiring connections, and accessory power.
- Diagnose and correct issues found during final inspection, QC, or customer-specific review.
- Read and follow work orders, build sheets, layouts, and customer option requirements.
- Complete punch-list items accurately and efficiently before delivery deadlines.
- Install final trim, sealant, hardware, fixtures, and finishing components as needed.
- Support final trailer readiness by checking fit, function, appearance, and system operation.
- Work closely with QC, Production Leadership, Cabinetry, Electrical/Plumbing, and
- Delivery teams to resolve open items.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in the finishing department.
- Identify recurring production issues and communicate them back to supervisors so
upstream processes can improve.
- Assist with warranty-style repairs or service corrections when needed.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with 12V and/or 120V electrical systems preferred.
- Experience with plumbing systems, fittings, pumps, tanks, and leak diagnosis preferred.
- Ability to install, adjust, and troubleshoot trailer/RV accessories.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, meters, sealants, fasteners, and basic fabrication methods.
- Ability to read work orders, diagrams, layouts, and installation instructions.
- High attention to detail; this role touches the trailer right before the customer sees it.
- Ability to problem-solve independently without waiting on step-by-step direction.
- RV service technician, trailer repair, marine service, or equipment service background strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work in/around trailers throughout the day.
- Ability to lift and carry materials, tools, and components as required.
- Comfortable working indoors, outdoors, and in tight spaces when necessary.
- Ability to safely operate tools and equipment used in final assembly and repair work.
Success in This Role Looks Like
- Add-on options are installed correctly the first time.
- QC punch lists shrink because finishing issues are resolved before inspection.
- Electrical, plumbing, and accessory systems function properly before delivery.
- Trailers leave finishing looking complete, clean, and customer-ready.
- The team has a go-to technician who can handle oddball upgrades and fixes without slowing the line down.
