About the Role

MN Cannabis Services is a fast-growing cannabis company at the ground floor of one of the most exciting emerging industries in Minnesota. We're building something — and we're looking for leaders who want to grow with us. The District Manager (DM) serves as the senior regional leader for the Minneapolis-St. Paul Region, responsible for the performance, operations, compliance, training execution, and culture across four or more retail dispensary locations. This role oversees General Managers at each location, ensuring alignment with company standards and strategic goals. The DM is the primary driver of training delivery, people development, and operational consistency across the district — translating corporate programs into effective execution at the store level.

Oversees inventory management practices and ensures adequate inventory levels are maintained across all locations

Troubleshoots aspects of store technology across the district to ensure operations are functioning properly

Utilizes conflict resolution to support GMs in handling customer complaints, returns, and escalations

Monitors regular inventory audits and investigates discrepancies across the district

8+ years of progressive retail leadership, including 3+ years of multi-unit management experience

Proven ability to coach and develop leaders at multiple levels

Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills

Strong problem-solving, negotiating, and critical judgment skills

Comfortable with scheduling, inventory systems, and financial reporting

High level of integrity, personal motivation, adaptability, and sense of urgency

Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and managing sensitive information

Must report to work sober at all times

Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly (up to 200 lbs with assistance), with or without reasonable accommodation
