We are seeking an individual to start their career as an Account Manager in Training. We have a unique program is designed for ambitious individuals who want to build a long-term career in commercial landscape management. Through hands-on experience, mentorship, and structured development, you'll gain exposure to every aspect of our business, from field operations and client relations to budgeting, sales, and leadership.

Working alongside experienced Account Managers, Production Managers, and Branch Leadership, you'll develop the knowledge and confidence needed to successfully transition into a full Account Manager role.

What You'll Do

Throughout the 12-week training program, you'll progressively take on greater responsibility while learning every aspect of commercial landscape management.

  • Partner with experienced Account Managers and Branch Leaders who will mentor and coach your professional development.
  • Work alongside Production Managers and field crews to understand daily operations, scheduling, production, quality standards, and safety expectations.
  • Participate in branch leadership meetings to gain exposure to operational planning, financial performance, and business strategy.
  • Assist in managing a portfolio of commercial landscape maintenance accounts while developing strong customer relationships.
  • Learn how to conduct property inspections and identify opportunities to improve landscape quality and client satisfaction.
  • Support the implementation of enhancement and irrigation proposals while learning estimating and pricing strategies.
  • Coordinate with irrigation, enhancements, agronomic, and operations teams to deliver exceptional service.
  • Learn equipment, fleet, inventory, and resource management to support efficient field operations.
  • Develop leadership skills by working directly with crews and learning how to motivate teams while promoting a culture of safety and accountability.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client properties through landscape improvements and value-added services.
  • Tailored Program that is rotational with all facets of the branch

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, Landscape Management, Business, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Internship or prior experience in landscape, construction, agriculture, facilities management, or another service-related industry is a plus.
  • Passion for building a career in commercial landscape management.
  • Strong leadership potential and desire to learn.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in both field and office environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
