PRODUCTION WORKERS

Gupta Permold, an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/V/D, is a world-class advanced aluminum foundry utilizing the permanent mold process. The company is currently hiring full-time Production Workers.

The individuals will be working for our Consumer Goods Division, DiamondLife.

Summary:

Production Worker/Packer is responsible for preparing products for shipment by assembling components, picking items from inventory, and packing them for shipment. This role ensures that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick items from shelves based on customer orders, ensuring the correct products are selected.
• Assembly: Assemble products or components as required, following specific instructions and quality standards.
• Packing: Pack items securely for shipment, using appropriate materials to protect products during transit.
• Quality Control: Inspect items for defects and ensure they meet quality standards before packing.
• Inventory Management: Keep track of inventory levels and report any discrepancies.
• Labeling: Weigh and label packages appropriately, ensuring all shipping information is correct.
• Record Keeping: Maintain records of packages, incoming packing slips and material.
• Cleaning: Clean and maintain packaging and shipping areas.

Requirements:

• Driver License & Reliable Transportation
• Must be over 18 at the time of hire

Skills and Qualifications:

• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders.
• Basic math skills for weighing and labeling packages.
• Physical stamina to lift and move packages (up to 50 pounds). Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Good organizational skills

Experience Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment is preferred but not required
• Previous fork truck experience a plus

Wages & Benefits:

• Starting wage: $18.00 per hour (based on experience)
