Travel Registered Nurse - NICU

LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Portland, Oregon.

Job Description and Requirements

Job Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of NICU experience required.
• Previous travel experience is required. First-time travelers will not be considered.

Licensure and Certifications

• Current Oregon RN License required.
• Pending Oregon license accepted with proof of Oregon license application and fingerprint submission.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required.

Schedule

• Start Dates: 7/1, 7/15
• Shift: 3x12-hour Nights
• Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Weekend and Holiday Requirements

• Weekend Requirement: 3 Saturdays and 3 Sundays within a 6-week scheduling period.
• Holiday Requirement: Must work at least one holiday (either July 4th or Labor Day).
• On-Call: None.

Patient Population and Floating

• Primary assignment is NICU.
• Will float within competency to care for patients less than one year of age, which may include:
• PICU
• Pediatric Acute (Infants Floor)
• NICU Overflow
• Travelers are expected to float within the facility and across the Legacy Health system as needed.
• Refusal to float as requested will result in contract cancellation.

Additional Requirements

• Travelers must complete all assigned education within one week of the assignment start date.
• Local candidates are not accepted. Candidates must live more than 50 miles from any Legacy Health facility.
• Previous travel experience is mandatory.
