POSITION SUMMARY : The Employee Benefits Client Executive is responsible for delivering high-quality and efficient service to both internal and external clients through day-to-day account management of an assigned group of accounts. Builds and solidifies relationships with existing clients by providing exceptional ongoing service. In partnership with the Production Team, takes a leadership role in the renewal process, ensuring that the best possible solution is delivered to the client in a high-quality timely manner:
JOB DUTIES :
Strategic Planning and Consultation
Lead both long-term and short-term strategic consultation and planning efforts for client benefit programs.
Ensure programs and plan design are aligned with all applicable regulatory requirements.
Utilize intermediate knowledge of underwriting practices to analyze claims data and provide applied explanations to the client and internal team.
Renewal and Coverage Management
Plan and direct the renewal process for all lines of coverage, including negotiating rate renewals and recommending carrier changes or alternative funding arrangements.
Direct and oversee the service teams' work assignments related to project management, claims escalation and resolution.
Collaborate with a Client Service Associate to verify the accuracy of presentation spreadsheets by comparing carrier proposals and assist in assembling formal proposals for clients.
Relationship Development and Management
Develop strong carrier and vendor relationships to support and lead negotiation and advocacy during client coverage placement and renewal process, utilizing department peers and/or leadership as necessary
Coordinate with internal subject matter experts and leadership to identify current and emerging markets and products, delivering solutions aligned with clients' goals through ongoing commitment to ongoing learning and development.
Client Communication and Education
Develop and deliver client communications, including presentations at client meetings, to inform and educate on benefits legislation, compliance, industry trends, and new products.
Field telephone inquiries as needed from both clients and their employees about their current coverage and insurance contracts, as well as general questions about insurance or benefits and regulations pertaining to insurance and benefits such as COBRA, HIPAA, and S125.
Make routine service calls to the client's workplace as needed within their team structure to address service issues and proactively demonstrate our high level of commitment to superior service.
Reporting and Enrollment Management
Complete annual Stewardship Reports and quarterly Claims Utilization Reviews.
Provide technological support and conduct annual open enrollment meetings, including employee presentations.
Plan annual client enrollments, including the development of enrollment strategies and educational materials to help employees understand and effectively utilize their benefits.
Process Management and Documentation
Adhere to established departmental and agency procedures by tracking activities, client history, communications, and accurately documenting all information within the agency system.
Maintain knowledge of and comply with Agency guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Professional Development and Compliance
Monitor personal continuing education requirements to ensure compliance with licensing requirements. Attend classes as necessary.
Accept and apply coaching from supervisors and managers in alignment with the Agency's policies and procedures.

Florida 2-15 Life Health License Required
Bachelor’s degree, and 5 to 7 years relevant agency experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
