Position Overview: Join our dedicated team as a Full-Time Security Officer, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients, customers, and personnel. As a part of our team, you'll build strong relationships with local law enforcement and fire departments, and provide exceptional customer service while remaining vigilant and proactive in your duties.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage access points and regulate the flow of pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
- Conduct regular patrols of buildings and surrounding areas to maintain safety.
- Escort materials and personnel as needed to ensure security.
- Inspect facility for security and fire safety compliance.
- Perform special assignments as directed by management.
Key Duties: Your role will be dynamic and may vary based on specific assignments, but key duties include:
- Punctuality and reporting to your post in full uniform.
- Represent the company with a professional demeanor, greeting customers and employees warmly.
- Stay informed about any updates to security protocols and post orders.
- Be proactive in observing and reporting suspicious activities or incidents.
- Monitor security cameras and equipment as directed.
- Stay knowledgeable about emergency policies and procedures to act effectively during crises.
- Complete reports, including Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, and Log Book entries.
- Provide insights and recommendations for enhancing safety measures.
- Understand life safety systems and related equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Ensure compliance with training and operational guidelines.
- Maintain clear communication with your Security Supervisor regarding emerging security concerns.
