Part-Time Oral Surgery Assistant
Location: Premier Dental, Colorado Springs, CO
Position Type: Part-Time
Schedule: 1–2 Mondays per month | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Premier Dental is seeking an experienced Oral Surgery Assistant to join our Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) team on a part-time basis. This position is ideal for a skilled assistant looking for a consistent, low-commitment schedule while working alongside an experienced oral surgeon in a professional, patient-focused environment.
Schedule
- 1–2 Mondays per month
- 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Work exclusively with our OMFS team during scheduled surgery days.
Responsibilities
- Assist the oral surgeon during surgical procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and surgical equipment.
- Ensure patient comfort and provide pre- and post-operative instructions.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Follow OSHA, CDC, and infection control protocols.
- Support efficient patient flow throughout surgery days.
Qualifications
Required:
- Previous experience assisting an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon is required.
- Strong knowledge of oral surgery instrumentation and procedures.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented.
Preferred
- IV Sedation Certification (preferred but not required).
