Temporary Custodian (Pool)
Emergency Hire - Temporary position lasting at most 90 days with an option of being extended to 180 days.
Under the direction of the Lead Custodian and the general supervision of area manager(s) the incumbent performs
cleaning maintenance assignments in various University buildings and external spaces.
Hiring Range/Rate : $21.00 per hour
Time Base : Full-Time, Intermittent
Sunday, 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM; Saturday, 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM
Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM

operate and care for custodial equipment and supplies applicable to the position; perform work involving regular physical activity; Knowledge of safe cleaning practices
Ability to provide excellent customer service
constituents including faculty, students, staff, and members of the community.
Ability to work irregular work shifts, including weekends and holidays
Ability to occasionally move (lift/carry) up to 50 pounds of equipment/supplies in a safe manner.
Possession of a valid California driver's license and maintenance of a good driving record.
Related janitorial/custodial experience working in a higher education, school district, or other institutional
Valid California Driver's License and maintenance of safe driving record required.
