In this full-time role, you will deliver high-quality service, utilizing both basic and advanced patient care techniques to make a real difference in people’s lives.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assess each emergency call to determine the best actions to take.
- Utilize your Paramedic skills on various medical equipment, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids.
- Act as a team leader during emergency responses, managing the scene and unit as necessary.
- Drive the ambulance during 911 responses.
- Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel.
Education and Licenses Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- California Driver's License
- Ambulance Driver's License (from DMV)
- Medical Examiner's Card
- State of California Paramedic License
- CPR Card (AHA ONLY, Health Care Provider; handwritten cards not accepted)
- ACLS Card (AHA ONLY; handwritten cards not accepted)
- PALS Card (AHA ONLY; handwritten cards not accepted) or PEPP
- A driving record that complies with McCormick/AMR Safety and Driving policy (proof required if conditional employment is made)

Salary Range: $22.39 - $24.98 DOE (This rate applies to both 12 and 24 hour shifts).
