Salary: $37.86 per hour base + $5.09 Hourly Fringe Benefits (additional comp including $1,500 Signing Bonus)

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7AM-3PM

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Plumber to support the operation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems within a federal facility environment. This role is ideal for a skilled commercial plumber who takes pride in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring reliable building operations in a mission-focused setting.

Perform assembly, installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, pipes, and fixtures

Install and repair plumbing equipment including water heaters, drinking fountains, toilets, sinks, valves, and related systems

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plumbing-related equipment throughout the facility

Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans to determine routing, placement, and operation of plumbing systems

Cut, thread, and install piping using appropriate plumbing tools and equipment

Open clogged drains using augers or hydrostatic equipment

Operate hoists, holders, and pulleys when handling large plumbing fixtures or valves

Complete work orders accurately, including labor hours and materials used

Submit daily work order documentation at the end of each shift

Assist with material requisitions, labor estimates, and repair planning

Follow safety procedures and utilize MSDS information when handling chemicals or materials

Support overall facility maintenance operations and assist with additional duties as needed

High School Diploma or GED required

Commercial plumbing experience required

Valid Journeyman Plumber License OR unrestricted Master Plumber License required

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Strong understanding of plumbing systems, preventive maintenance, and repair procedures

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical maintenance activities as needed

On-call rotation required

Work may be performed in both indoor and outdoor environments

Exposure to machinery, dust, grease, noise, chemicals, and varying weather conditions may occur

Use of protective equipment such as respirators, gloves, masks, and goggles may be required
