Security Officer (Armed/Unarmed)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. This role requires a proactive approach to conflict management and loss prevention while maintaining a visible presence to deter potential threats.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
• Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to identify suspicious activities.
• Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
• Document all incidents accurately in reports for record-keeping and analysis.
• Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate potential threats or disturbances.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional training in conflict management is a plus.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operations.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
• Must possess a valid armed security officer license or certification as mandated by state regulations.
