Randstad, in partnership with our client, is looking for a reliable and independent Warehouse Associate to join a growing team. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys a "one-man show" environment and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.
Quick Look at the Role
- Pay Rate: $20/hr – $22/hr
- Location: Starts in Lexington, MA; moves to a brand-new facility in Westford, MA on June 1st
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Duration: 6-month contract with a strong possibility of conversion to a permanent role
- Independence: Highly independent role—you will often be the primary person managing the building
- Equipment: No forklift experience required

What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of warehouse operations. Your daily tasks will include:
- Inventory Management: Performing cycle counts, tracking stock levels, and organizing the warehouse to peak efficiency.
- Shipping & Receiving: Managing product receiving, order pulling, packaging, and same-day shipping.
- Order Processing: Creating sales orders, prepping repair orders, and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Communication: Interacting with internal teams like Project Managers and Technicians to coordinate logistics.
What We’re Looking For
- Reliability: Since you’ll be managing the site independently, excellent attendance and punctuality are mandatory.
- Experience: A background in inventory management and general warehouse activities.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using computers and warehouse systems to track data.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work in the Lexington location for the first few weeks before transitioning to the new Westford site.
