Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Body Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing, restoring, and maintaining vehicle bodies with precision and care. Your expertise will help ensure our customers receive top-quality service and vehicles that look and perform their best. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of automotive repairs, from collision damage to custom restorations, utilizing advanced tools and techniques. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying techniques to achieve smooth, flawless finishes.
• Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication skills to restore vehicle structures accurately.
• Assess vehicle damage through auto estimating processes and communicate repair plans effectively to customers.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, including parts used and procedures followed, ensuring quality control.
• Assist in auto restoration projects by fabricating custom parts, performing heavy lifting tasks, and assembling components as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the repair journey.

Experience

• Previous dealership experience or background in automotive repair is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in auto body repair techniques including auto painting, sanding, sanding, and detailing.
• Hands-on experience with MIG welding, welding in general, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication.
• Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures to support comprehensive repairs.
• Familiarity with auto estimating software and auto restoration projects is a plus.
• Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools safely.
• Strong understanding of automotive repair standards with a focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail.
