Automotive Paint Technician

Colors On Parade is expanding operations and we are actively looking for full-time automotive paint technicians to join our team in various markets across the US.

Colors On Parade specializes in S.M.A.R.T. Repair in the non-collision appearance market, typically providing services on-site, with a variety of clients in need of our services.

Our clients vary from auto dealerships, RV dealerships, RV owners, rental car and fleet companies, general public with small cosmetic damages and even airplane owners.

The ideal candidate has some paint experience but we are willing to train the right candidate provided a background working with their hands in a similar industry.

Personal characteristics desired: detail oriented, reliable, self-motivated, hard working and not afraid to work in the elements.

We are a franchise company with a proven track record of guiding self-motivated individuals into successful business/franchise ownership. This opportunity is to be an Employee for one of our current Area Representatives and work full time at his shop in Colorado Springs.

The average tenure is over 10 years with Colors On Parade with many passing 25 years.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting.
• Mix and match colors to create desired effects.
• Knowledge of different types of paints and finishes.
• Knowledge of color theory and mixing techniques.
• Use spray guns to apply paint to surfaces.
• Clean up after painting job is complete.

Transportation Required – ideally a truck or SUV that can tow a small to medium sized trailer. Ideal but not required to start.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
