Position: Travel Occupational Therapist - Long Term Care - $2,406 per week

Job Summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in Oregon, Missouri.

  • Pay Package: Based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined

Responsibilities

  • Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develop individualized plans of care
  • Administer rehabilitative treatments including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices
  • Utilize standardized assessments and evidence‑based practice to guide clinical interventions
  • Monitor and document patient progress, treatment outcomes, and discharge summaries in the electronic documentation system
  • Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers
  • Supervise and support occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students as needed
  • Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation team meetings
  • Adhere to NBCOT and state-required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics
  • Limit requests for return to office (RTO) to no more than 7 days

Qualifications

  • Active OT license required
  • Minimum 1 year of OT experience required
  • LTC or SNF setting experience required
  • New graduates considered if completed a Level II fieldwork experience (not solely Level I observation)
  • 1 professional reference required for consideration
