Location

  • Full-time, onsite role located in Mooresville, NC, five days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately and on time using ADP Workforce Now, including reviewing hours, earnings, deductions, reimbursements, and payroll adjustments.
  • Review timekeeping records, resolve missed punches or discrepancies, and ensure proper approvals are in place before payroll is finalized.
  • Conduct payroll audits before and after processing to identify errors, research discrepancies, and respond to employee payroll questions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HR/payroll systems, including new hire information, employee changes, terminations, deductions, and required documentation.
  • Support benefits administration, including new hire enrollments, qualifying life event changes, terminations, open enrollment support, and carrier/vendor coordination.
  • Partner with HR and Accounting to ensure benefit deductions, payroll reports, reconciliations, and related updates are accurate and completed on schedule.
  • Assist with routine and ad hoc reporting, payroll documentation, compliance support, and year-end payroll activities as needed.

Background That Fits

  • 2+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience, ideally with exposure to full-cycle payroll, timekeeping, audits, and employee payroll support.
  • Experience using ADP Workforce Now is strongly preferred.
  • Preferred experience supporting benefits administration, including enrollments, employee changes, open enrollment, deductions, and vendor or carrier coordination.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle confidential employee information with professionalism, accuracy, and discretion.
  • Comfortable working with Excel, payroll reports, employee data, and basic reconciliations.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with a customer-service mindset and the ability to support employees, HR, and Accounting partners.
