About the Role

ServiceNow is looking for a UI/UX Designer to craft interactive, high-impact experiences that bring our platform to life at the moments that matter most. Our team builds demos for product launches, industry events like Knowledge and World Forum, high-value executive opportunities, and more. This role is at the intersection of UX craft, product storytelling, and live marketing, with direct exposure to senior leadership and the decisions that drive the business forward.

You'll work closely with product and UX teams, marketing leads, production partners, and studio contractors. Tackling visionary product design and helping shape the future of ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

Design and prototype interactive demos for product launches, industry events, executive presentations, and expo floors

Translate complex platform capabilities and product roadmaps into clear, compelling demo narratives tailored to specific audiences

Collaborate closely with product and UX teams to interpret existing work, infer intent, and extrapolate into forward-looking demo experiences

Own projects end to end from initial storyboard through final delivery, managing timelines, stakeholder approvals, and last-minute pivots

Direct and provide feedback to studio contractors and production partners, ensuring quality and consistency across deliverables

Enable project leads and marketing partners through maintained demo resources, enablement materials, and staying fluent in the latest emerging technologies

Represent the team in cross-functional reviews, presenting and defending design decisions to stakeholders and leadership

Core Competencies

Figma — Expert-level command of Figma with a deep understanding of how to build organized files structured for change, utilizing variants, variables, styles, and slots; with a solid grasp of how libraries are connected, how updates propagate, and how to manage both local and linked components without breaking a build

Prototyping — builds high-fidelity, realistic prototypes with a command of complex interaction states and multi-step builds, grounded in a strong understanding of animation principles; designs demos that are intuitive and stable for live presentation, anticipating potential pitfalls and proactively engineering solutions

UI/UX — grounded in UX best practices and interface design principles; able to navigate and interpret product team work, infer intent, and extrapolate from existing patterns to tackle edge cases and forward-looking functionality; brings a sharp eye for kinetics, a strong sense of information hierarchy, and a considered approach to accessibility

Storyboarding — rapidly create and communicate demo flows for ideation and approvals; able to interpret and build on storyboards from cross-functional partners, even when briefs are incomplete or ambiguous, and translate them into structured Figma flows

AI & emerging tools — actively curious about generative AI, with a focus on employing it within the Figma ecosystem; an interest in how tools like Claude via MCP can extend and accelerate Figma workflows, with a grounded understanding of where human craft still needs to lead

Motion & video — comfortable with motion graphics, video editing, and basic sound editing; able to jump in, make changes, and render assets; collaborates fluently with production partners, speaking the same language from video formats and codecs to alpha mattes and delivery specs

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in the UX/UI design space with adjacent experience in related fields like product design, sales enablement, marketing, or live event production

Experience collaborating with developers or product engineers, with an understanding of front-end constraints and how design decisions translate to build

A strong command of project ownership, end to end, with a penchant for file management, naming conventions, progress tracking, and building timelines

Thrives in a fast-moving environment where approval cycles compress timelines, hard pivots are routine, and the pace of work ebbs and flows with the event calendar

Skilled communicator; comfortable presenting and defending design decisions, pitching to executives, and negotiating compromise with product stakeholders

Operates with autonomy; makes decisive calls under pressure, directs contractors, and keeps projects moving without waiting for explicit direction

Preferred

Working knowledge of Scrum or agile methodologies

Experience with demo automation or interactive presentation tools

Prior exposure to ServiceNow products or enterprise SaaS platforms

Comfortable navigating developer tools like VS Code, browser dev tools, or basic command line

Willingness to travel for events including Knowledge and World Forum
