MIG Welder – 1st Shift | Temp-to-Hire

$17.50 per hour

Shift: Monday–Friday | 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM

Overtime available on Saturdays

Looking for steady hours, quick starts, and long-term career potential? We’re hiring MIG Welders to join a growing production team in Phoenix! If you have experience welding thin sheet metal and enjoy hands-on fabrication work, this opportunity is for you.

Position OverviewAs a MIG Welder, you’ll play a key role in production by performing custom fabrication and welding on 12–18 gauge steel. This role is ideal for entry- to mid-level welders seeking skill development and a pathway to permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities• Perform MIG welding per job orders and specifications

• Weld and fabricate hollow metal frames
• Read and follow daily travelers and work tickets
• Operate hand and power tools (grinders, saws, drills, punch equipment, etc.)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Report production and quality data to leadership
• Retrieve materials and parts as needed
• Participate in company safety programs
• Train on multiple welding workstations based on skill level

Physical & Work Environment Requirements• MIG welding on thin sheet metal (12–18 gauge)

• Lift, push, or pull up to 75 lbs repeatedly
• Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Work in a non-temperature-controlled environment
• Moderate to loud noise levels
• PPE required at all times

Minimum Qualifications• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)

• Previous manufacturing experience (preferred)
• Must pass a weld test
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic math and computer skills (fractions & decimals)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
