The Points Guy is the leading authority on travel, loyalty and smart spending, reaching millions across editorial, email, video and social platforms. This is a high-impact, high-ownership director role responsible for defining and scaling TPG’s partnerships content strategy across pre-sale and post-sale, and across editorial, email, video and social platforms.

A strategic leader shaping how TPG wins and grows partnerships

An operator building the systems and standards needed to execute at scale

This role sits at the center of Editorial, Video, Social, Email, Sales, Marketing and Analytics, and is accountable for driving revenue through premium, high-performing and durable content programs.

What You’ll Do:

Own the Partnerships Content Strategy (Pre-Sale + Post-Sale)

Lead the development of best-in-class partnership content concepts for RFPs and proactive pitches that materially improve win rates.

Partner with Sales leadership to shape category strategy, pricing logic and packaging.

Drive Revenue Through Content

Be directly accountable for how content contributes to:

Lead End-to-End Execution at a High Bar

Oversee the execution of integrated partnership content programs across:

Written (features, guides, integrations)

Social (platform-native, short-form, creator-led)

Video (YouTube, premium, long-form)

Set and enforce a premium creative standard—what “great” looks like at TPG.

Ensure all work is:

Audience-first

On-brand

Platform-native

Commercially effective

Build scalable workflows that enable high output without sacrificing quality .

Be a Cross-Functional Leader

Act as the primary connector between Sales and Content, ensuring alignment without compromising editorial integrity.

Partner closely with:

Editorial Email leadership (voice, standards, integration points)

Video Social (formats, talent, distribution)

Analytics (measurement, optimization)

Marketing (amplification, audience growth)

Navigate tradeoffs and make decisions that balance revenue, audience trust and operational feasibility.

Guide the Client Experience at the Highest Level

Serve as a trusted partner to key clients, especially on high-value deals.

Lead concept presentations and guide clients through creative decisions with authority.

Elevate TPG’s reputation as a premium branded content partner, not just a media vendor.

Build Systems, Not Just Campaigns

Create the infrastructure needed to scale:

Playbooks

Templates

Creative frameworks

Production workflows

Identify bottlenecks and proactively solve for speed, efficiency and quality.

Establish a test-and-learn culture across formats and platforms.

Lead and Develop Talent

Mentor and elevate team members across partnerships content, social, video, and written production.

Set a high bar for creative thinking, execution and accountability.

Help build the next generation of leaders within the partnerships content function.

What We’re Looking For:

8–12+ years of experience in partnership content, media, agency or integrated marketing, with clear progression into leadership roles.

Proven track record of driving revenue through content, not just producing it.

Deep experience working on pre-sale/RFP strategy and winning competitive deals.

Strong editorial and creative instincts across written, video and social formats.

Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels.

Comfortable leading in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and making high-stakes decisions.

Exceptional cross-functional operator who can influence without direct authority.

Confident, polished and credible in client-facing environments, including senior stakeholders.

Highly structured thinker who can build systems that scale, not just one-off solutions.

Experience in travel, finance or performance-driven media is a plus…
