FAA Testing Mandatory
Seeking a Machinist who provides safe and efficient routine and non‑routine machining procedures to various aerospace/aircraft components. They will work in accordance with MT R&O policies and procedures along with FAA regulations to bring various aviation components back to airworthiness by using various machine tools.
Experience setting up and operating various shop equipment VTLs, manual lathes, CNC lathes, manual mills, CNC mills, surface grinders, O.Familiar with Aerospace alloys such as Inconel 718, Inconel 625, Titanium, Waspaloy, etc.
Familiar with various measuring equipment
Ability to understand directions verbally and in writing in English
Ongoing FAA Testing and Training Mandatory
High School diploma or equivalent- documentation required
Must be able to work overtime, including weekends, as needed
Adhere to AS9100 and other quality standards
As such, successful results of pre‑placement FAA drug testing will be required.
Trade school certification/degree or 3 years’ experience setting up and operating VTLs, manual lathes, CNC lathes, manual mills, CNC mills, surface grinders, O.Able to program CNC controls such as Fanuc, Prototrak, etc.
