At Pinkbox Doughnuts, our Assistant Doughnut Bosses help lead the day-to-day operations of the shop, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, outstanding product quality, and a positive team culture. Working alongside the Doughnut Boss, you'll support hiring, training, coaching, and operational execution while helping drive sales, profitability, and team success.
Responsibilities
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management of store team members.
- Support labor scheduling and workforce planning to meet operational needs.
- Monitor payroll, labor costs, and productivity metrics.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, health, and company standards.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, deposits, and daily reporting.
- Monitor inventory levels and help manage ordering to ensure product availability.
- Review sales reports and operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure all products meet Pinkbox Doughnuts quality and presentation standards.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Lead by example and foster a positive, service-focused team environment.
- Support initiatives that drive sales, profitability, and customer loyalty.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of management or supervisory experience, preferably in food service, hospitality, retail, or restaurant operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
- Experience managing schedules, labor, inventory, and operational processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to kitchen equipment and varying temperatures.
