Providing essential support to patients and referral sources, the part-time Medical Billing Customer Support Specialist will manage new order intake, conduct insurance verification, and assist with third-party reimbursement processes in a hybrid work environment. Key responsibilities Manage all aspects of initial intake, including answering calls, collecting patient information, and processing paperwork Conduct insurance verification and eligibility checks while maintaining accurate records and quality control Provide education and technical assistance to patients and referral sources regarding service qualifications and billing processes Required qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent Experience with medical billing practices preferred Familiarity with administrative record management in a medical setting preferred One year of related work experience preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record when applicable
