Job Description:

  • Operational Schedule/Shift Hours - if relevant: The schedule consists of a rotating shift that will begin at 5:00 AM and end at 5:30 PM
  • The schedule for the first week necessitates showing up at work for a total of five days except for Wednesday, which is a day off
  • Tuesday and Wednesday comprise days two and three of the second week, with Monday being a day off and Thursday through Sunday finishing out the remainder of the week
  • In a biweekly schedule, the standard working hours are 96.

Compensation:

Based on the level of experience of the applicant, the rate of pay for this job may range up to $32.00 per hour. Additionally, local incentives such as extra pay for referrals and an additional week of salary may be available.

General Purpose

The individual in this position is accountable for overseeing a team while also troubleshooting and supplying immediate preventive and corrective Maintenance Support to production lines, as well as aiding in change-over.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and troubleshoot equipment issues effectively and implement corrective actions.
  • Refurbish and implement advanced devices.
  • Experienced fabricators are able to create and rebuild parts using a variety of techniques and materials.
  • Manage facility maintenance requirements and preserve a safe and clean work atmosphere.
  • Forecast Future Demand: To avoid stockouts or overstocking, it is essential to forecast future demand for the parts. This can be based on past sales trends, seasonal variations, and other factors.
  • Respond promptly to any questions or concerns raised by customers or team members regarding work orders.
  • Effectuate the exchange of tools and the formation of production systems.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates without a High School diploma or its equivalent will not be considered for this position.
  • The top choice of credentials for this position is a certification in the Refrigeration/HVAC Trade or Vocational field.
  • Industrial maintenance experience within the range of 0-5 years is a prerequisite for this position.
  • Applicants with a year or more of mechanical/electrical experience are preferred.
  • The ideal candidate should possess a background in diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
  • Past involvement in fast-paced industrial settings.
  • Exhibited a high level of skill in mechanical and technical areas.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • The proficiency to meet the manufacturer's specifications and drawings accurately.
  • It is advantageous to possess some understanding of Programmable Logic Control (PLC).
  • The availability of hand tools may be necessary.
