Position Overview
Foodville Concepts is seeking a motivated Food Prep/Line Cook to join our growing culinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in producing quality food, and wants to build a long-term career in the foodservice industry.

This position offers opportunities for advancement into Lead Cook, Kitchen Supervisor, Chef Manager, and salaried leadership positions as our company continues to grow.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, chopping, measuring, and portioning foods.
- Assist in cooking and plating menu items according to Foodville recipes and quality standards.
- Support catering production and daily retail operations.
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations throughout each shift.
- Properly receive, label, rotate, and store food products.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP procedures.
- Work collaboratively with teammates to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Assist with additional kitchen duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a prep cook, line cook, or in a commercial kitchen is preferred but not required.
- A strong work ethic and commitment to producing quality work every day.
- Willingness to learn, accept coaching, and continuously improve.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Food Handler Certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain one).
