Retail Support is a department of traveling tellers and bankers who support Zions Bank branches throughout their geographical area in case of absenteeism. This position offers an opportunity to gain a large skill set in the fundamentals of banking while also providing networking opportunities. Our mission is to support our branches and help them fulfill strategic objectives and carry out Zions Bank’s company vision. Job Responsibilities Provide quality service while protecting the branch against loss. Maintain advanced knowledge of branch operations. Expand client base through successful selling and coaching techniques, including lending applications, cross-selling of bank services and products, and assisting clients in every area of banking. Process cash transactions and other customer service duties within the branch. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of banking, cashiering, customer service, balancing, other related experience, or successful completion of company approved training. Advanced knowledge of cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products and/or banking. Working knowledge of math. Solid balancing and customer service skills. Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients' needs. Location Retail Support covers a geographical area. Mileage reimbursements are provided whenever an employee travels over 25 miles round trip from their home. This position primarily supports branches in the Salt Lake Valley and Summit County. The Retail Support department may, on occasion, send employees in this area to cover shifts as far north as Centerville/Bountiful, as far south as Draper/Riverton, and as far west as Tooele and Magna.
