Substitute Teacher Primary to High School 2026-2027

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow teacher lesson plans and maintain continuity of instruction.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, respectful learning environment.
• Supervise students during class, transitions, lunch, recess, and other assigned duties.
• Take attendance, complete required reports, and communicate essential information to school staff.
• Differentiate instruction as directed and support classroom routines.
• Adhere to school policies, confidentiality, and emergency procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent.
• Ability to manage classrooms across multiple grade levels.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Reliable, flexible, and punctual with a professional demeanor.
• Background check and clearances (fingerprinting).

Preferred (optional):

• Prior substitute or teaching experience.
• Training in classroom management, special education basics, or technology integration.

Schedule:

• On-call; assignments range from single-day to extended placements.
• Typical hours: 8am to 4pm.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $150.00 per day
