Job Description:
About This Role-
We are seeking a highly technical sales representative with proven sales excellence and deep expertise in hydraulic and fluid power systems. This role combines consultative selling with technical problem-solving, targeting customers who rely on advanced hydraulic solutions. You'll be responsible for driving revenue growth, building customer relationships, and closing deals while leveraging your technical knowledge to solve complex customer challenges.
Compensation
Market-competitive base salary plus performance-based commission structure.
Required Experience
- Proven track record of success in sales, particularly selling technical products or services
- Demonstrated ability to close deals and exceed sales targets
- Hands-on experience with hydraulic and fluid power systems
- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics
- Competency in standard fluid power calculations and formulas
- Experience sizing pumps, cylinders, and valves
- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to both engineers and business decision-makers
- Proven skills in relationship building and customer engagement
Preferred Qualifications
- CFPHS (Certified Fluid Power Hydraulic Specialist) certification
Initial Screening
All candidates will be asked the following screening questions to confirm technical competency:
- Can you read a hydraulic schematic?
- Can you calculate standard fluid power formulas?
- Are you comfortable sizing pumps, cylinders, and valves?
- Have you designed and drawn your own hydraulic schematics?
Interview Process
All candidates are required to complete a Culture Index survey before the first interview.
First Interview (1 hour) — Virtual or In-Person
Resume review, sales background, experience, and fit assessment
Second Interview (1 hour) — Virtual or In-Person
Deeper technical discussion and application of hydraulic knowledge
Final Interview (1.5–2 hours) — In-Person at Corporate Headquarters
Executive-level discussion with senior leadership
