Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various construction sites and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing systems meet safety standards, adhere to blueprints, and function efficiently. Duties

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install plumbing systems.
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures, piping, and related mechanical components on construction sites.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete installations and repairs.
  • Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Conduct remodeling and maintenance tasks on existing plumbing infrastructure as needed.
  • Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry and HVAC teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Troubleshoot plumbing issues using mechanical knowledge and field service experience to diagnose problems efficiently.

Experience

  • Proven experience working on construction sites with a focus on plumbing installation and repair.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in construction plumbing techniques, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation.
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and basic math calculations related to measurements and quantities.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems, remodeling projects, maintenance tasks, and handyman skills is preferred.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in physically demanding environments.
  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent driving experience is a plus for site transportation needs.

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
